I know I’m late posting this, but it was up on time on my YouTube Channel!
Having recently discovered that I can use regular plastic molds with resin and having one of my subscribers suggest I make pens, I came up with this. Now, for the record, I used mineral oil on my molds, at the suggestion of one of my subscribers, but I have to be honest with you, I much prefer Vaseline.

Directions:
Not having done this project before, I learned some ways to make it easier and I will be sharing them in the directions below.
1. Prepare your resin with a think layer of Vaseline – making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies. I also suggest you go beyond the actual cavity, on the the flat part of the mold, in the event you over fill or drip.
2. Take your hot glue and where the mold is cut out for the lollipop stick, put some hot glue to create a dam, so resin won’t flow out of your mold. Put your lollipop stick into the glue, while still soft. Add additional hot glue if needed.
3. Prepare your resin, according to package directions. Add pigment powder, or your colorant of choice to the resin and mix well.
4. Pour resin into the mold.
5. Allow to cure for 12 hours before unmolding.
6. Take your pen and remove the end cap.
7. Unmold your shark. Take a pair of scissors, or wire cutter and cut any excess hot glue, or resin from the stick and also shorten the stick. The stick needs to be short enough to fit into the end of the pen.
8. Put some hot glue into the pen and stick the lollipop stick in and hold it until cool.
9. Take decorative duct tape and cover as close to the shark as possible.
10. Take acrylic paint and paint in the details.
That’s it! Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting!
