Are you ready for a no calorie pumpkin pie? How about a full sized candle pumpkin pie, just in time for Thanksgiving!! To warn you, it didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped, but I think it turned out!

Directions:
1. Create a double boiler by using either two pots, one with water and one with wax. Use an old pot for the wax, or buy a metal pitcher at the craft store, made to use for melting wax.
2. Melt wax. I used four bars of the wax and added scent and color. Tip: The wax will harden much lighter then when it is melted. Drip some on some foil and let it harden, so you can see how it will look.
3. Take three wicks and dip into the melted was and place into the mold.
4. Pour base wax in, for the pie crust. Then with the silicone basting brush, brush wax on the sides and the edge to create and build up the crust.
5. When the wax is still warm, break or scrape some the wax to give the crust some shape. Then brush some wax over it.
6. Melt more wax and add color to darken it enough to get it to the pumpkin pie color.
7. Take some skewer sticks to support the wicks. Lay them across the pie and have the wicks between skewer sticks, until the crust hardens.
8. Pour the wax into the wax pie crust. As it begins to harden, I sprinkled some cinnamon and cloves on it, just to give it the spicy look.
9. Once hardened, snip off the wicks.
10. Melt one more bar of wax. Once melted, take it off the heat, as it is hardening use your skewer stick to whip the wax. Before it hardens, and is still soft, spoon it into the cake decorating bag and do a nice big whip cream dollop in the middle of the pie and wicks.
That’s it! Once hardened, you can give the candle as a hostess gift, or break it out for Thanksgiving or Christmas!
