Directions:
1. I found wood squares. You can cut your own, or buy ready made squares.
2. I painted the squares white. I used regular acrylic paint and it seals the wood.
3. I mixed two ounces of resin and divided it into smaller cups. I mixed different pigments for a variety of colors and some resin with glitter.
4. I just began dripping the colors over the wood squares. I have the squares raised, so if any resin drips, the square won’t be stuck to the table top.
5. Once the squares are covered, I used my lighter to pop any bubbles. Then, I let them cure for a minimum of 12 hours.
6. After 12 hours, you will find drips under the bottom.
7. You can cut them off with a rotary tool, or sand them down.
8. To do the other side, put some plastic wrap on the cured side. This will help prevent drips from gathering on the finished side.
9. Then, I repeated dripping resin on the other side.
10. After the resin cured, I removed the plastic wrap.
11. I had some uneven edges and used a nail file to smooth it out.
Then I was left with these beautiful coasters! You can use any colors to match your decor!
