If you are looking for resin craft ideas, here are easy coasters, where I experimented with color shift paint! This time, I used a black background like you all suggested!
2. I mixed two ounces of resin and added black pigment and mixed it really well.
3. I poured the resin into the mold cavities.
4. I used a lighter to pop the bubbles and let it cure for 12 hours.
5. Once cured, I removed them from the mold.
Here is the back of the purple.
Here are both.
6. I painted the color shift paint onto the coasters.
7. I let the paint completely dry.
8. I mixed two ounces of resin and poured it onto the coasters.
9. I used my stir stick to make sure the resin reached the edges.
10. I used my lighter to pop the bubbles and let them cure a minimum of 12 hours before touching them.
Here they are all finished! The colors are definitely bolder on the black background.
Here are last weeks coasters to compare them.
That’s it! Thanks for stopping by! Remember: Life’s too short not to shimmer, so grab your glue gun and your glitter!™ Stay safe!
